Viewing more details

If you click on the title of a reference, a page showing more details appears. The references is shown in a formatted string and any notes, keywords or abstracts present in the BibTex string are displayed. The possible two links are also shown here.

Editing

From the view page described above, a logged in user can edit the reference by clicking on the edit link next to the title. The edit interface is identical to the back end editing.

Uninstallation

Uninstallation is carried out via the standard Joomla component uninstall. This will clear the database of the bibliography and remove the component from joomla. No other files will be affected.

Upgrading to a new version

Upgrading requires that you first uninstall the old version. This is crucial, and the installation will fail unless you do so. If you already have references in the application that you wish to keep you should use the dowload bibtex string facility (separately for each category if required, as the category will not be stored in the bibtex string). You can then proceed to uninstall the old version, install the new version, then you will have to recreate the categories and upload the bibtex files that you saved for each category.
