I have released the Joomla Bibtex Component, get it from the downloads section. Please let me know of any problems/suggestions relating to the component.

Hi again,
I finally managed to register on your web site, so I'm resending my message to you here in case you didn't get the email.
I wanted to congratulate you for your excellent jombib component. I am currently setting up a web page for my research group in Denmark using Joomla, and was excited to be able to import all my references into your component in one go from EndNote via a BibTeX-export file. I think the overview works really well but I was surprised to see that the entries are printed directly in BibTeX format when you click one of them. While this may be exactly what you intended with the component, I think it will confuse less technical users of my web page, so I was going to ask you if you plan to implement a kind of “formatted” view of each reference. Say, I click on
-- Structure of the nuclear exosome component Rrp6p reveals an interplay between the active site and the HRDC domain
Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A 2006
in the list and the component displays something like
Midtgaard, S. F., Assenholt, J., Jonstrup, A. T., Van, L. B., Jensen, T. H., Brodersen, D. E. (2006) “Structure of the nuclear exosome component Rrp6p reveals an interplay between the active site and the HRDC domain”, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, 103(32):11898-903 (MedLine entry).
In biology and medicine we use the MedLine data base and it would be great with an out-link (like the above) so users can continue to the PDF file, but I think I saw that links are already supported?
Looking forward to your reply,

Thanks for the comments. I think you are right, the bibtex string display was a little lazy on my part and does not quite look right. I will put in a more structured output and include it in the next release, coming very soon.

These changes, among many others, have been implemented in the new 1.2 version which is available now at the downloads section
